Outdoor Fitness Classes
North London Fitness outdoor fitness classes are a circuit training style of workout designed to give you an optimum all over body workout in the space of an hour.
Training outdoors is a totally different exercise experience-not only is it a greener way to exercise but the fresh air gives you a great feeling of wellbeing. Working out as a group creates a real team spirit and social atmosphere that gives a sense of fun to all of the sessions.
Every session uses a variety of both cardiovascular (there the ones for the heart!) and strength exercises (they're the ones for shaping up!) in different combinations to keep you on your toes. You will also get the benefit of using various equipment such as skipping ropes, resistance bands and balls, ensuring that your workout is always varied and challenging.
We know that maintaining the motivation to exercise can be tough and that's why we're here to help. You will always receive individual attention from our trainers ensuring safe technique and you'll be able to feel yourself making progress with every session-we are there to support, encourage and help push you that bit further to get the results you want.
Will there be lots of running?
In short-no! Although running is an excellent cardiovascular activity we know that most people can do this by themselves and although some running may be included in the session, we're here to offer you an all over body workout.
Do I need to be fit to attend?
No-most definitely not! Our workouts are designed for all abilities which means that every exercise can be adapted to your level of ability.
What if the weather is bad?
At North London Fitness, our first concern with the weather is safety. If we feel that adverse weather conditions will cause any unsafe, slippery surfaces then we will postpone the session. If this is the case, a message will be put up on the scrolling banner of the homepage approximately 30-45 minutes before the start of a session.
What shall I bring?
A bottle of water and a smile! And always make sure that you're wearing appropriate clothing for the weather conditions-layers are usually best.
