Health and Fitness Consultations
With an overwhelming amount of information available on diets and exercise it's often difficult to know where to start and more importantly-what's right for you!
Day to day activities such as sitting at a desk all day, lifting children or carrying loads can put excessive strain on muscle groups and cause weakness in other areas, often leading to muscle imbalance, poor posture and aches and pains.
Even regular exercisers can find themselves open to strains and injury if not combined with appropriate strength exercise and correct stretching techniques.
As exercise professionals, we are often asked things such as ‘How can I tone my tummy?', ‘Why are my knees aching when I run?' or ‘Why am I not losing weight even though I'm exercising regularly?
As no two individuals are alike, there can't be a one-size-fits-all answer which is why at North London Fitness we offer Health and Fitness Consultations with a fully qualified exercise professional.
What does a Health and Fitness consultation involve?
We understand that everybody is different so depending on you're specific requirements, the consultation may include some or all of the following:
- Goals
- Muscle tension, flexibility and postural analysis
- Exercise and medical history
- Current exercise
- Completion of a food diary and food diary analysis
- Weight and body measurements
- Blood pressure
- Advice and recommendations during the consultation
- Follow-up plan
Where do I go and how long does it take?
Consultations last approximately 60 minutes and are usually carried out in your home however we are also happy to meet at a suitable location of your choice.
